It offers a combination of modern urban life
and tropical beauty and
the bonus of exquisite beaches!
Rio itinerary
- Sightseeing
the beautiful beaches of Copacabana,
Ipanema, Leblon, Flamengo, Botafogo, Leme,
Sao Conrado & Barra da Tijuca - A day trip to the lovely town of Niteroi with visit to the famous Museum of Contemporary Art
- Sightseeing the gorgeous tropical beaches of Piratininga, Itacoatiara, Camboinhas, with lunch included in Itaipu’s quaint fisherman village on the beach with optional swimming and snorkeling
- A visit to Corcovado Mountain with Brazil’s most well known icon - the Christ statue on top of one of the tallest mountains in Rio
- An excursion to Tijuca Tropical Rain Forest, the largest urban forest in the world
- A visit to Sugar Loaf mountains with a cable-car trip between two gorgeous tropical mountains offering stunning views
- Free time to rest and/or shop and enjoy the lovely arts and crafts fairs in Ipanema & Copacabana

Viva Brasilia!
Brasilia is the capital of Brazil and is considered to be a masterpiece of modern architecture. Included in our itinerary in Brasilia:
- Visit to Niemeyer’s Cathedral
- Visit to The Temple of Peace, it’s Egyptian room and the World Parliament of Ecumenical Fraternity
Pilgrimage to Abadiania
Abadiania is a little rural town with one main road and no stop signs. Step into the past and discover the present, let go and relax into the healing energies of the Casa de Dom Inacio, where John of God performs miraculous healings every Wednesday, Thursdays and Fridays. Included in our Itinerary in Abadiania:
- 4 nights accommodations (single occupancy) with three meals a day
- Support and translations for your encounters with John of God
- Daily healing meditations at the Casa de Dom Ignacio
- Beautiful walks in peaceful natural settings
- Visit to sacred, healing waterfall
- Time to rest, renew, energize and deepen your alignment with your Inner Being
Itinerary
The retreat officially begins on Friday November 3rd at 1:30PM at our Hotel in Ipanema (transportation from the airport to the hotel will be provided for those arriving Friday morning)
Friday, November 3 – Tuesday, November 7: Rio & Niteroi
Tuesday, November 7 – Saturday, November 11: Brasilia and Abadiania
The retreat ends on Saturday morning November 11th in Albadiania. (Transportation to Brazilia airport will be provided for group member returning that day)

Registration: $2.350 per person

Your deposit is fully refundable before October 10th.
After October 10th, your deposit may be applied toward future Common Ground activities, classes and retreats.
