Common Ground

Whatever the question, love is the answer...

Wake up!

What does that mean to you?

I don’t think about washing my face in the morning, I just do. I have all kinds of things on my mind so that washing is the backdrop for whatever I'm thinking, or planning. How much of my day has become automatic?

Wake Up!

In a lucid dream I had many years ago, I realized that I was awake in the sleep realm. Seated on the side of a hill looking out at trees, I began to sing, “I’m awake in a dream”, like a young child would while gloating. Slowly my consciousness of the dream faded, as I, childlike, protested. The lesson seemed to be, be awake where you are, stay awake in the realm you are anchored in.

My prayer today - Oh God, grant us the courage to wake up so we can receive and give awakened love without delay.

Let's wake up - and stay awake!

Each glimpse beyond the ego's hold is one step closer to the ultimate waking up~

Amen! I also call it aware. When I am behaving in a way that is not automatic I observe myself. In this I see my ego and that awareness dissolves and strips the power of ego over my life.

Thanks for the prayer, Rhetta. It wakes me! And the message of your dream, "Stay awake in the realm you are anchored in," is a good message for me too. I open to it. Love to you...
