The chaos of the festivities

Every year during at this time, a large percentage of the world around me turns to chaos. Merriment turns to anger as as desires overtake the threads that hold us human. In an expression of love many go out of their way to display the worst of themselves while attempting to purchase that fabricated item that says "I love you."

I don't need to go over the wrongs or the rights of it all. It is what it has become. I invite us as a community to pray and hold a light for all the busy people out there. Send a smile of love and compassion into the world, and when you come home - do yoga, or breathe deeply for sveral minutes. For if you forget this important step, you will feel a little more haggard, and less willing to be the light that we are.
