This morning we joined our hearts and minds to be a place of compassion for our brothers and sisters in Haiti. We prayed that their needs are met by a caring world and that even some of the long term concerns of the region get addressed because of the attention received. We prayed that they will have a quiet night’s rest. We prayed that many answer the call to offer solace to the grieving, on a short and long term basis. We envisioned the slow and steady rebuilding process; that there are many improvements in current living conditions. We prayed for the souls of those who have left this physical realm and have begun the next chapter of their eternal journey. We send love and light to all who are affected by this tremendous event.
