Common Ground

Whatever the question, love is the answer...

This day God spoke of turmoil
Destruction afoot the dark clouds rolled in
The masses huddled in anticipation of impending doom
The mighty spear thrusted from above pierced the heart of the lion
Bleeding and week the roar became a wimper
Yet the lion trudged on
Another spear came down and the lion lay still
Eyes closed heart beating slowly the lion looked toward the skies
Then he realized what he had done and why he was struck down
When asked to battle for God he was only to roar
That echoe would have reached the corners of the earth and silence all that opposed God
The lion mistakingly fought with his claws and his teeth, wounding and maiming God's children
Now dying he understood this and asked for redemtion
A lamb came up to him from the trees and offered warmth and care
The lion understood and asked for life
God layed His hand upons the lion mane and said Stand up and roar

Roar loud children
