Calling all ordained leaders to prayer and visioning for Common Ground
There is a new clarity emerging for Common Ground. And it takes a community to reveal it. An important part this community is those among you ordained in one of so many faith traditions or as interfaith ministers. We need you to do your part as midwives to this new clarity.
The board has requested that Rhetta Morgan, one of our interfaith ministers, initiate a campaign of prayer and visioning with the ordained leaders in the Common Ground network, and act as liaison to the board. As board president, I’m writing this post to let you know that we need you. The banner of universal love needs you.
If you have it in your heart to expand the space where all roads join, and you are an ordained leader, then reply to this post and Rhetta will follow up with you.
Here's the board's plan. I ask that you hold this plan in your consciousness as you pray for the work and play ahead.

I affirm collective clarity for all... such a blessed community of like-minded (yet diverse) individuals! As you learn to harmonize with one another, so the world will become a better place for all.

I submit that such a person specific request seems to deviate from the Believe and Work sections of the Common Ground Credo. On the other hand what if all the women gathered or decided to pray as a group for this or that? Or how about all the single dads? I personally feel that such specific groups have a right to gather and focus as they desire.
We were all given a voice in a special gathering where everyone there was recorded. I know these recordings will be listened to by those that you have addressed in this blog. Perhaps opening a special blog to gather more perspective would be a good idea. Do we have any hearing or vision impaired members? How can we reach them? Perhaps a handout describing the special gathering and requesting further input could be distributed for all Common Ground gatherings for a month or so.
