Common Ground Salon - Northeast Philly at New location for June Salon

June 20, 2010 from 7pm to 9pm
The recipe for this salon is simple: a living room-sized group of people and something inspiring. The inspiration can come from a poem, a work of art, an idea, a song, a film, or anywhere meaning is found. From there the magic of Spirit takes over. The theme of this salon is Inner Wisdom. We seek inspiration around this theme. On Sunday, June 20, 2010 we will continue watching "Down the Rabbit Hole" (DVD) with frequent pauses for comments, questions, and epiphanies. We will also practice walking…See More

A "Have Your Say" Celebration at Summit Presbyterian

May 16, 2010 from 3pm to 5pm
"I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free. " - MichelangeloThere is a new clarity emerging for Common Ground. And it takes a community to reveal it. Be part of the co-creative process. And together, like Michelangelo, we'll witness this clarity as it emerges. This is strategic planning Common Ground style: we will gather in sacred celebration and flow into expressions of the essence of who we are as individuals and together. We will combine technology, new ideas for…See More

Love is the answer

Although I am not a Christian, these words from St. Paul express my feelings exactly.( I think of myself as a non-Christian Christian: I honor Jesus as a teacher and a humanitarian; I do accept his divinity.)Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not love, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not…See More

Hi there,

I'm having a salon on February 19th and wondered if you'd like to come. It's in the Philadelphian across from the art museum and will be a neighborhood get together and an opportunity to co-create what we want as a like minded small group of neighbors.

Let me know what you think.
Fondly,
Sandy
