Community Barefoot Boogie! at Moving Arts Institute

May 16, 2009 from 8pm to 10:30pm
Come one come all to your Community Barefoot Boogie! This is the last boogie of the season ('til September) and will be at a very special NEW location for this month, a magnificent mansion on the Elkins Estate. In May, the dance will be hosted by Ettel Landrecht at her new location for the Moving Arts Institute, accompanied by live drumming performed by Barry Bell & friends. Dance free in beautiful surroundings, reflecting the beauty in you!

thanks for your note. If you send me (sff at sas.upenn.edu) your email address, I can forward some info on tango. Yes, I know John Eldred and Janet Greco (his wife). They both teach in the same program as me at Penn.

Hi Lara: We spoke last Saturday at the Mt. Airy Birthday party. I thought you mentioned something about a spring equinox dance. Is that the one here on this site?

Hello Steve,

Greetings to a kindred spirit/dancer! After studying swing and salsa, with a bit
of ballroom, I'm finally taking a deep breath and planning to learn Argentine Tango.
Any recommendations about which programs to consider? Is contact improv
what it sounds like?

Do you perform (guitar) anywhere?

One other question: do you know John Eldred?

Namaste.

Greetings Steve,
Just got your message! I am not able to check messages as regularly as some. Yes it was the Equinox event on this site. It was a wonderful event and some photos from the event are in the slideshow on the main page. The other dance event I spoke about is coming up this Sunday, Mar. 29. Check out the Spirit Dancing info on the main page and through the Spirit Dancing Group. I will be facilitating that one. Great to hear from you and I hope to see you there! Please spread the word! Namaste.
