I just read the message you left me about living in Honesdale!
I have been living on a private meditation retreat center about 20 miles outside
of Honesdale for the past 10 years. I just recently performed at the Himalayan Institute Cafe in town. I met quite a few artistic/spiritual types who have migrated from NYC, to live in the beautiful mountains outside of Honesdale. So it seems the alternative community is growing around there.
It has been a slow progression though, there is one small health food store and then the Himilayan scene, which has yoga and such. As for realtors, I have a few names if you are interested.
I can share more info with you later!
