Hello Alan, Just wondering if the Ecstatic Chant Workshop at Omega was given by Robbie Gass. I took a workshop with a similar name with him in the summer of 2005. It was so inspiring. How was yours? Namaste, Donna

About Me
Greetings! I'm a child of the Sixties, yearning to save the world....so I try to do this in a small way, one person at a time, in my Five Element Acupuncture practice in Bucks County. (Remember "Think global, act local"?)

My 21-year old son, Julian (named in honor of John Lennon) is one of my most significant teachers. He seems sprung from 1968 or thereabouts....and fills me with love, joy, inspiration, and the possibility of new beginnings and commitments (including living on a
homestead in Maine)...to say nothing of his passion for music, which is heartfelt
common ground for both of us.

Despite the hard knocks I've had (including two divorces and breast cancer), I still remain a
hopeless romantic, in every sense of the word (and, as Paul Simon said, "Still crazy after all these years"). I was almost delirious when Obama was elected, since most of the politicians I've championed have consistently lost elections. He's the guy I'll put my faith in to help us rise above the unbelievable problems we face in our world.

As the years go on, I quietly try to strike a balance between living in the mainstream and being true to my beliefs. I'm more interested in spiritual pursuits than collecting stuff. The more I learn, the less I know. Humility is the feeling I hold close to my heart, in my work and the rest of my life.

My sister, a former Transcendental Meditation teacher, initiated me into TM in 1981, when I was at one of the lowest ebbs of my life. Meditation continues to be a haven for me, a chance to quiet my mind (or try to!) and listen to the still, small voice within.

I'm delighted to have discovered this group, thanks to the Philly Wellness Guide folks, and plan to join you for various events.

Namaste, Donna.
