The name of their band is The Crescendo Show. They just played on the 7th but sometimes they do the open mic. fireworksvenue.com will have the schedule. I will tell Nathan about you and one day, you never know. Whenever you go to Normals, ask for him. He cooks. When I come out to visit him, I will look you up. Baaaaaahhhhhh

Hi Beth, I noticed you live in Oregon. My son moved there a year ago and works in Corvallis at Nearly Normals and plays music at the Fireworks restaurant, among other places. He is really into the organic foods and of course, music. You may already know him and his friends. Nathan,(keyboard, guitar, accordian, etc) Kailyn,(vocals) and Brad,(percussion) Everyone seems to know each other out there. I just had to mention it. Brad has also done some work on an organic farm. It could have been yours. It would be wonderful for Nathan to meet you. It's great what you are doing and I can appreciate the work that must go into it all! Now, how is that for Common Ground?

My program is extraordinary! The people, the lectures, the homework, the introspection, the prayer life, the meditation- I tell you it is a program that is teller made for me and the 88 other people in my class!! We meet once a month in Manhattan, sometimes for the day, sometimes for the weekend. The rest of the month we are connected by a wonderful website, our dean and study groups. Last year we studied the major traditions, this year we are performing ministerial duties for each other such as practice weddings, baby blessings, funerals, as well as getting an introduction to Chaplaincy and Spiritual Counseling.
My kids are doing well. They are 16 and 18. My son is doing much better than he had been in a while, I'm very grateful. My daughter continues to do really well in school and sports. Glad to hear you and the family are all doing well. If I come out to Kansas City with my mother in May, I wonder will I be close enough to visit? I have to find out which Kansas City first.

Welcome Beth!! It's wonderful to see this picture of you. You look great. Tell me about what's going on behind you. Is that a downed tree?

About Me
I live and work a small farm in western Oregon, raising organic vegetables, meat, and Navajo-Churro sheep for meat and wool. I am also a percussionist and play widely throughout the area covering many genres of music. I have a wonderful husband and 2 children, ages 2 and 6. I also have a keen interest and help run a group that supports villagers in Darfur, Sudan, promoting sustainable projects to improve village life and viability as well as children's health.
