- About Me
- Even as a child, I experienced a very deep connection with our nonhuman brothers and sisters. Growing up, two of my closest friends were the dogwood tree in the back yard, and a large black dog which mysteriously showed up on our property every summer for several years. Somewhat of a loner, I preferred the woods and creeks around our house to the company of others, and would often, much to my mother’s chagrin, set out on solo adventures.
Although she never would have referred to herself in this manner, my mother was something of a prairie dog. Every day she made the rounds visiting the elderly women on our block, often with me in tow. It was making these rounds, I firmly believe, that put my feet squarely upon the healing path, and gave me a fuller appreciation of the Divine Feminine.
Currently residing in Philadelphia, Pa, I have been studying Harner Method Core Shamanism since 2006. I have been trained in the Harner Method of Shamanic Counseling (HMSC)©, Soul Restoration, Shamanic Extraction Healing, Power Animal Work, and several other shamanic healing practices.
Although I regularly lead journeying circles, and healing and other sacred ceremonies in the Philadelphia, PA and Collingswood, NJ, areas, I am a firm believer in the philosophy "Have drum - will travel."
