Sonic Bath 

What is your heart trying to tell you about where you need to be in 2012? Can you hear it? Katryn Lavanture will grace us with a sonic experience of vibrating and pulsating Tibetan bowls. Together we’ll go to that space where we better see and feel our visions, desires, and intentions.

We will then open the Wisdom Share for all who are so moved to give voice to what comes up, in the supportive presence of community. Come be bathed in sound as we listen attentively to the stirrings within and without. Rev. Joni Carley will be our hostess and guide on this adventure of the heart.

Music and Movement

Much of our experience of spiritual connection seeks expression beyond words.  Come be transformed by the healing music of the Common Ground band and choir.  

Free movement, led by our own Lara Vracarich, is evolving into a prominent element of our celebrations.  Come find joy and peace in reconnecting with the physical.  You can participate or witness others, as works best for you. 

Community Connection

After the event, we’ll get together to meet new friends and re-connect with old ones for an hour of socializing. Light snacks, appetizers and beverages will be served.

If you have a particular favorite that you would like to share with the group, by all means bring it. Finger food only, please. 

Our Children

While the Adults are celebrating, the children will participate in their own experiential learning around the theme of the day.  All 5-12 year olds are welcome (at this time, the program cannot accommodate children under 5). It's more than daycare, and it's universal, not from any one particular religious tradition. The primary text of the program is “The Family Virtues Guide” – covering 52 virtues (such as courage, honest, hope, love) geared towards kids and families. This text is part of the Family Virtues Project.  The cost is $10 per family, payable at the beginning of each program. Scholarships are available.
