Please join us for a multimedia event featuring global spiritual philosopher and author Ashok Gangadean (http://www.awakeningmind.org ) and international peace and security advocate Jonathan Granoff (http://www.gsinstitute.org ) in a powerful deep-dialogue evoking the spirit of Rumi, the enlightened 13th century Sufi poet, whose global influence on spirituality and consciousness is stronger today than it has ever been.
They will be joined by artist Michael Green (http://michaelgreenarts.com ). His sacred art, inspired by Rumi’s poetry, will provide the backdrop for this event. Michael Green and Jonathan Granoff attribute their appreciation of Rumi to having lived, and studied with Bawa Muhaiyaddeen, a humble, fully enlightened true human being whose love continues to illuminate their paths. This event will be held on Saturday, September 26th at 8 PM in the Margaret Gest Center, Room 101 on the Campus of Haverford College in Haverford, PA.
The public is also invited to a special “Meet the Minds” hors d’oeuvres hour beforehand at the new Fortuna Art Gallery at 845 West Lancaster Ave. in Bryn Mawr where Michael Green’s latest Rumi-inspired artworks are on display. Dr. Gangadean, Mr. Granoff and Mr. Green will all be on-hand at the Fortuna Gallery between 6:30 and 7:30 PM before the Haverford event to engage in a dialogue with the public.
Jonathan Granoff has decided to hide the list of guests.
