THE LOVE THAT ALWAYS IS
A celebration of the Immutable Truth at the core of life’s challenges and heartbreak
Join us as we explore the question: “How can love exist in difficult places?” In the midst of devastation and despair, suffering and sorrow, it is often challenging to feel the presence of Love. We may feel abandoned by its grace, disenchanted with its promise and even doubtful of its very existence as we ponder our painful circumstances and become absorbed by the crisis or conflict before us. Whether it be a global tragedy or a personal adversity, tapping into that space of Love can be bewildering and frustrating from such a vantage point. But our inability to embrace it or the outward appearances that suggests its absence doesn’t mean Love doesn’t exist. Our greatest challenges can in fact be the door that invites a deeper expression of Love into our lives.
Shifting perceptions, small acts of courage and resilience, a trusting surrender and a willingness to be vulnerable are all ways to access that Love, to allow it to transform our circumstances and present a better possibility for that moment, that situation and in some cases even our lives.
We invite you to reflect with us on the ways Love has arrived or been discovered amid the things that break us down and burden our heart and soul.
Our presenters this month will be members of our rich and diverse community. Through music, poetry, drama and wisdom sharing, we will harness this energy of Love and let it wash over us, honoring the Eternal Presence longing for expression from our every human experience.
