Event Description

Join us for a rich discussion and potluck dinner with New York Times best-selling author and "peace troubadour" James Twyman. James will join us to discuss his new book "The Barn Dance".

James has requested that as many people as possible read the book before the event in order to enliven the discussion. Free books are available from Denny Daikeler (215) 822-9720, or denny@dennydaikeler.com.

James will also grace us with his guitar and singing, as will Annabella Wood, beloved singer songwriter in the Common Ground community and recent You Tube sensation.

About the Book (from Amazon.com):

"On November 27, 2005, two men broke into Linda Twyman’s apartment in Evanston, Illinois, and brutally ended her young life. Three and a half years later, guided by a series of visions and dreams, James Twyman was mystically drawn to a barn deep in the Nevada wilderness where Heaven and Earth collide and magic changes lives.

"If you’ve ever wondered if we really can communicate with our loved ones who have passed to the other side, this book is your answer. If you’ve ever thought that Heaven and Earth never meet, then this story will reveal a world you never imagined . . . a world where love never ends and life goes on forever. Once you pick up this amazing book, you won’t want to put it down, and your life will never be the same."

This event is co-sponsored by Common Ground, Pebble Hill Church and A Circle of Miracles.

I picked up Barn Dance on the seat of my friend's car when she ran into the bike shop to pick up her kids' tuned up bikes. When she came back in 10 minutes I had read enough of Barn Dance to be hooked. I borrowed the book and finished reading it that night! I can't wait for the Barn Dance, book discussion on Thursday.

Hope to get a look at the book before Thursday but just so happy to get this invite as I know it will be inspiring. Thank you

What a great book. It's a good story with intrigue, mystery, thrills, despair, hope and redemption. I really enjoyed reading it and even enjoyed a nice paradigm shift. There were even some similarities between the story and my life which made it even more interesting to read.

The discussion should be interesting.

I think a larger venue will be needed!! Can't imagine that anyone who hears about it will not want to be there!! Great event...I'm very excited about it!
