Event Description
Extravagant Community celebration. Come enjoy performances throughout the town at many locations from 3:30-7~ including Flamenco Music & Dance, Bellydancing, storytelling, improv Orchestra & Morris Dancers (to name a few.) Then enjoy a festivities parade of drumming and dancing down the street through town to the huge, majestic bird, which has been built by volunteers over the past 5 months. There will be fire spinning, dancing, and food and craft vendors of all types. The bird will be lit at 8pm as a symbol of rebirth, purification, letting go and rising from the ashes.
