"Common Ground is a vibrant spiritual community dedicated to opening space for the natural human impulse to create, evolve and inspire."  -- from CG Vision and Mission Statement

Who is this Workshop For?

All who want to expand community in their lives are welcome.  Come be the community that you want more of in your life, if only for a moment.  You do not need to be a member of anything or make a commitment to anything in order to attend.  You will be a gardener tending the seed thought that was planted last year when we adopted the vision and mission statement.

In due time, this seed will sprout and become a mighty oak.

Big Changes at a Big Moment

Big changes are about to happen... the biggest since Common Ground began in the living room of our founders almost 7 years ago.  Last October we adopted our first ever vision and mission statement.  All programs are up for review as we consider the perfect path forward... as ambitious as the very reinvention of spiritual community for our time!

Visioning Based on “Theory U”
Carol Adams -- Common Ground’s own seasoned visioning workshop leader -- will guide the group through an emergent process using her unique blend of Theory U and other methods to “lead from the future as it emerges in the present”.  Theory U emphasizes a combination of deep sensing (called “presencing”) and prototyping (i.e. “learn by doing"), rather than traditional methods with big planning cycles.

Carol is developing a customized agenda grounded in the Theory U cycle, summarized as follows:

The Foundation of our Visioning:

If the following statement stirs something of your higher self within you.... If expanding community and connection enlivens you.... If you feel drawn to find out whether this work / play is for you....

....then how can you not join us on the 22nd?

Great Event (even tho it did end up with me being the next Treasurer).

Here's a video I shot of the closing song:

It's on my calendar.  Finding this community has been a manifested intention of mine!

I have it on my calendar for now...will depend on how much i need to get done here

My biggest conflict is that the first Sunday of the month is nearly impossible for me to make...I'd be MOST interested in coming if there could be an agenda re: adding a SECOND monthly time OR changing from the first Sunday to the 2nd or another...as my Group Motion is the first Sun eve / every mth, & hard to do both! xo

I'd love to attend, but I'll still be in Chile... Heading to Argentina & Patagonia on the 3rd.

Having worked with "Theory U" for years in leadership training and coaching, I can say that this process is deeply spiritual and just right for the world that is emerging.
