Common Ground Open Mic & Jam

At this uniquely transformational time in our history, Common Ground wants to explore new possibilities for music and musicians.

• Are you a musician who loves to create music in the moment?
• Do you play traditional instruments like keyboard, strings, percussion, woodwinds or brass?
• Or do you play World instruments like the bansuri, sitar, didgeridoo or pan flute?
• Do you love to create music with your voice, either as a solo or with a chorus of like-minded folks?
• Are you a singer/songwriter?

If so, we’d love to hear your music and your ideas for shaping our musical direction!

Please join us on Sunday February 19th from 3:00 P.M. – 5:30 P.M. for an afternoon of music-making and fellowship. Format: part jam and part open mic followed by brainstorming and snacks.

Join other musicians on familiar tunes or share your original music. If you like to play with backing tracks, bring your iPod! We will have sound system and microphones. We will also provide an 88-key electric piano so you don’t have to lug your own with you (unless you want too, of course!).

Always known for our heartfelt, spirited music, Common Ground is expanding our program to create space specifically for musicians and music making. So we're especially excited to open up and explore our musical treasure chest on Feb. 19th.
